This body of work honors my family history through photographs of Western landscapes, animals, and working spaces that connect my parents’ and grandparents’ world with my own. Using the historic salt print process with cow salt, it blends past and present through an early photographic method tied to the land. The imperfections in the prints reflect time and labor, and the work serves as a tribute to my lineage and where I come from.
